Casino Bonus Wagering Requirements 2026: How to Clear Them (9 Brands)
Wagering requirements explained: 35x vs 40x, bonus vs deposit + bonus, max bets and deadlines at 9 casinos, with worked examples. As of 8 October 2026.
What wagering requirements mean
A wagering requirement is the total amount you have to bet before bonus money turns into cash you can withdraw. It is written as a multiplier, such as 35x or 40x, and that multiplier is applied to a base: either the bonus alone or your deposit plus the bonus.
Every deposit offer works this way, and the welcome bonus is where most players in Germany meet it first. You deposit, the casino adds bonus funds, and from that moment the money sits under the bonus terms until the turnover is complete or the deadline runs out. Withdraw early and the bonus, plus anything won with it, is usually cancelled.
Three numbers decide how heavy a bonus really is: the multiplier, the base it applies to, and the number of days you get. Two further rules often matter just as much: the largest stake you may place per spin and the cap on what you can cash out at the end. The headline percentage (100%, 120%, 325%) tells you very little on its own. A smaller bonus with a light requirement can be worth more than a big one you will never clear.
The terms behind this are often called bonus terms or bonus conditions. They are the same thing: the section of the casino's rules that lists the multiplier, the base, the deadline, the maximum bet, excluded games and payment methods. We checked these sections for nine casinos that accept players from Germany, from the operator's own terms where its site loaded and from third-party sources otherwise; the figures below are as of 8 October 2026 unless a different date is given.
How to clear a bonus: worked example
The quickest way to compare offers is to turn the multiplier into a euro figure. Here are two real offers with two different bases.
Vulkan Vegas: 40x the bonus
According to Vulkan Vegas's bonus terms (as of 8 October 2026), the first deposit brings 120% plus 70 free spins, and the bonus has to be wagered 40 times. Winnings from free spins carry a separate 30x requirement. You have 5 days, and the maximum bet while the bonus is active is €5.
- Deposit: €100
- Bonus: 120% of €100 = €120
- Turnover: €120 × 40 = €4,800
- Per day over 5 days: €960
- At the €5 maximum bet: at least 960 spins in total
The deposit itself is not part of the calculation, so the €100 you paid in does not raise the turnover. The bonus cannot be used in live games, table games or instant games, so the €4,800 has to come from the games the terms allow.
Posido: 35x deposit + bonus
Posido's rules (as of 8 October 2026) set 35x on deposit plus bonus for the welcome offer of 100% up to €500 plus 200 free spins. Free spin winnings are wagered 40 times, and the deadline is 10 days.
- Deposit: €100
- Bonus: 100% of €100 = €100
- Base: €100 + €100 = €200
- Turnover: €200 × 35 = €7,000
- Per day over 10 days: €700
At first glance 35x looks lighter than 40x. Once the base is included, the Posido example needs €7,000 of bets against €4,800 at Vulkan Vegas, although Posido gives you twice as many days. At the full €500 deposit the Posido figure grows to (€500 + €500) × 35 = €35,000.
Step by step
- Find the multiplier and the base in the bonus terms.
- Work out the base in euros and multiply.
- Divide by the number of days to see the daily turnover.
- Check the maximum bet and the excluded games before the first spin.
- Track your progress in the bonus area of your account; stop if the target is not realistic within the deadline.
Basis: bonus only or deposit + bonus
The base is the single detail that most often makes two offers look alike when they are not. With the same €100 deposit and a 100% bonus, 35x on the bonus means €3,500 of turnover, while 35x on deposit plus bonus means €7,000. As a rule of thumb, a deposit + bonus requirement at a 100% match costs as much as double the multiplier on the bonus alone.
Among the nine casinos we checked, three use deposit + bonus for the welcome offer: Posido, Frumzi and Boomerang, each at 35x. For Boomerang the figures come from third parties only: AskGamblers lists 35x on deposit plus bonus, 40x on free spin winnings and 10 days in both its 2024 and 2025 data. LCB reported in October 2025 that Boomerang no longer accepts new registrations; we could not confirm this with the operator because its site does not load from Germany. Details are on the boomerang casino bonus page.
Vulkan Vegas, Lucky7even, Qbet and 7Bit apply the multiplier to the bonus only. For Lucky7even it is 40x the bonus according to the operator's bonus terms; for Qbet 35x the bonus, according to AskGamblers, casinos.com and gambling.com; for 7Bit 35x the bonus with 14 days (operator's bonus terms as of 5 October 2026).
Two brands are unclear. Cobra's 40x is attributed to the bonus by AskGamblers and to deposit plus bonus by LCB, and the operator's own terms do not state a welcome multiplier at all; we could not establish which reading applies, so check the bonus area before you deposit. The cobra casino bonus overview lists the first deposit offer of 100% up to €1,000 plus 250 free spins. SkyCrown has the same problem: 40x is confirmed by several sources, but LCB and AskGamblers name the bonus as the base, while gambling.com names deposit plus bonus.
Max bet, deadlines and cash-out cap
Even when the multiplier is manageable, three side rules decide whether a bonus can be cleared at all.
Maximum bet
Most casinos limit each stake while bonus money is active. Vulkan Vegas and Lucky7even set €5 in their bonus terms. Cobra's FAQ also states €5 (as of 5 October 2026). Qbet's €5 comes from AskGamblers and casinos.com. 7Bit caps stakes at 12 μBTC per spin, roughly €1 (as of 5 October 2026). SkyCrown, according to LCB and other sources, allows €2 on the first deposit bonus and €5 on the second and third.
Posido and Frumzi word it differently: their rules prohibit bets “above 100 EUR” (operator wording) until the bonus is wagered. Frumzi follows the same rulebook as its sister brand; the separate Frumzi DE site has closed, and whether frumzi.com currently accepts players from Germany is not confirmed. The frumzi casino bonus page keeps track of that status.
Deadlines
The clock starts when the bonus is credited. Vulkan Vegas gives 5 days, Posido and Frumzi 10, 7Bit 14 (as of 5 October 2026) and Qbet 30 according to casinos.com and gambling.com. Cobra's 14 days come only from LCB and are not confirmed by the operator. For SkyCrown, LCB says 5 days and gambling.com says 14. At Lucky7even, free spins expire after 14 days and cash rewards after one month.
Cash-out cap
Some offers limit what you can withdraw after clearing the bonus, and this is where the max cashout rule matters. Posido and Frumzi cap deposit bonus winnings at 10× the bonus, so a €100 bonus can return at most €1,000; free spin winnings are capped at €80. Lucky7even applies 10× the bonus to cashback and cash rewards and 10× the deposit to large deposits. For Vulkan Vegas only one source (LCB, March 2026) lists a cap of 3× the bonus; the operator does not confirm it.
Offers without a deposit follow their own, usually stricter rules. Posido and Frumzi set 40x and a cap of 5× for any no deposit bonus, while Cobra limits such winnings to €30, Lucky7even to €50 and Vulkan Vegas to €500 plus the amount of a deposit. These are rules in the terms, not live offers: none of the nine casinos had a confirmed no deposit promotion as of 8 October 2026.
Payment methods
Deposits by Skrill or Neteller do not qualify for the welcome bonus at SkyCrown and Boomerang, according to Casino Guru and LCB, and do not count towards promotions at Cobra, according to LCB. If you pay with an e-wallet, the bonus may simply never be credited.

FAQ: wagering requirements
Why was my bonus not credited?
The usual reasons are in the terms: the deposit was below the minimum (€10 at Vulkan Vegas, €20 at Lucky7even, Cobra, SkyCrown and Boomerang), it was made with an excluded method such as Skrill or Neteller, or, at some casinos, the offer had to be selected before paying. Contact support in writing with the transaction time.
Why is my withdrawal blocked while a bonus is active?
As long as the wagering is not complete, the balance is tied to the bonus. Asking for a payout early usually cancels the bonus and its winnings. Check the remaining turnover in your account first.
Do the same wagering requirements apply in Austria?
We checked the terms for players from Germany. Whether different conditions apply for Austria is not documented.
Are bonus terms and wagering requirements the same?
Bonus terms are the full rule set; the wagering requirement is the part that says how much you must bet. In practice people use both phrases for the same section.
Does a bet above the maximum void the bonus?
Casinos list the maximum stake as a condition of the offer, so breaking it can cost the bonus and its winnings. Stay under €5 where that is the limit, and under €2 on SkyCrown's first deposit bonus.
